Don has produced some of the great powerhouse boys’ distance teams out of the talent-rich Southern California area in recent years.

Chris Walsh, Campolindo HS
Coach Walsh’s girls teams have finished no lower than 5th at the state meet since 1995, and the Cougars continued their fine run with a state title in ‘01.

Doyle O’Regan, Piedmont HS
Doyle’s boys’ and girls’ teams reload from year-to-year faster than any other squad in the North Coast Section

Jim Tracy , University HS, SF
The Red Devils are arguably the best Division V program in the state over the last decade. University has multiple state titles in both boys’ and girls’ competition.
