We have had a huge number of teams enter in this year’s Monterey
Bay Invitational. We are currently expecting over 70 schools to compete
between the two days!!! We have added races on Saturday in order to keep
the races to a manageable size and to give more runners opportunities
to win medals!
*The 2.2 mile race is designed for those runners that might have greater
success at a shorter distance. Many F/S
teams have more than 7 runners and this would be an ideal race for those
not in your scoring team. The race is open to all F/S runners, however
the team competition will be on the three mile course only.
** The sweepstakes race is an added attraction for those teams and individuals
that are highly competitive. We will have many teams that are ranked in
their section and this would be the ideal race for those teams or individuals
to compete. Please notify the Meet Director if your team is willing to
compete in the
SWEEPSTAKE .
Individual Medals to be handed out at finish chute. Team Medals/Awards
to be presented at starting line area as
soon as possible after conclusion of results.
