Firebird Invitational

Dear Coach, 05/01/2002
The 6th Annual Firbird Invitational (18th race overall) will be held
at
Fremont High on Thursday, September 12, 2002. The course is a flat, 2.05
mile
race held on the Fremont High School athletic fields. Medals are given
out as
the individual winners cross the finish line with the team scores tabulated
before
the end of the invitational. Individual runner's times will be sent out
within a
few days of the race. Please field a complete Boys Varsity team (minimum
5)
and a complete Girls Varsity team (minimum 5) before fielding other teams.
Boys Fr/Soph will be held to a maximum 10 entrants per school.
Cost = $70 for entire invite, made out to Fremont High School Cross Country.

When you arrive at Fremont, come to the finish line area to receive your
packet of forms that all need to be filled before the first race begins.
We'd like
you to use our forms, so if you'd like to come prepared, xerox the attached
forms, one for each race that you plan on entering. Give to the finish
line table
when you arrive. Complete all information except for grade and time. If
you
haven't prepaid, please bring your check as well.

P.S. Please encourage all bus & car drivers to use the student parking
lot on Fremont
Ave and NOT the front lot by our large gym on Sunnyvale-Saratoga Ave.
The front lot
gets very congested at the end of our school day.
