Final Meet Information Mariner and New Balance Invite - 10/19/02 - Moreau HS - Phil Wilder

19th Annual Moreau Catholic Mariner and New Balance Cross-Country Dinner and Invitational - Final Information - Phil Wilder

Dear Coach:

This year the 19th Annual Mariner Cross-Country Dinner and Clinic on Friday, October 18 will feature Olympian Brad Hauser and the Mariner Cross-Country Invitational on Saturday, October 19 will be run at Garin Park. New Balance, Fleet Feet of Pleasanton and Pleasant Hill, and Clif Bar will be providing the best in running for you and your runners on Friday and Saturday! Doug Padilla and his RunnerCard program will provide all runners with their own personal finish card (name, place, time, team place, current team score and place) when they exit the chute! Peter Jensen will return as announcer along with the sound system and DJ that added to the excitement of last year’s meet!

Please note the new schedule below. In order to provide the best competition for the runners, we will combine the races when the number of entries permit. **If the numbers are too large to combine the classifications, then we will run small schools first followed by large schools. Last year we only had to split the frosh-soph boys race. Medals and plaques will still be awarded for each classification. We will notify you of any changes by October 16.

If you have any questions or concerns, please call (510)247-2809, or e-mail [email protected]. Go to our website at http://www.moreaucatholic.org/public/xc/xc.html for all the course maps and updates!

Best of luck in the 2002 season, and we look forward to seeing you on the 18th and 19th!

Phil Wilder
