adidas Track Classic: World-class athletes and a free T-shirt!

CARSON, Calif. (May 10) � Olympic gold medalists Jeremy Wariner and Meseret Defar;

�World Champions Allyson Felix and Ana Guevara; and Tyson Gay, the fastest 100m-200m

combo runner in history, are all coming to the adidas Track Classic on May 20.

So are Alistair Cragg, Anthony Famiglietti, Abdi Abdirahman, Juan Luis Barrios, Michelle

Perry, Jenn Stuczynski and Stacy Dragila, among dozens of other Olympians and top world-class athletes.

Last year, the adidas Track Classic featured the fastest 1500m ever run on U.S. soil, and this year

Defar, who already holds three World Records, may be going for a fourth in the 2-Mile run. It will

�be a great chance to see some the best track-and-field athletes in the world, and if you�re looking

for autographs we�ll even give you something for the superstars to sign. Every high school athlete

who comes to the meet wearing his or her school uniform will receive a free adidas Track Classic

T-shirt.

The adidas Track Classic will begin at noon on May 20 at The Home Depot Center, on the

campus of California State University, Dominguez Hills, and will be broadcast live on ESPN

from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. PDT (4 p.m.-6 p.m. EDT). So, you might even get on TV!
