CHANGES IN SOUTHERN SECTION TRACK DIVISIONAL LINEUPS FOR 2005

Lists used were from January 8, 2004 and January 4, 2005

Division I (school size goes from 1,840 and over in 2004 to 1,900 in 2005)

Changes
Antelope Valley, Arroyo Valley, Bloomington, Compton, King, La Sierra, Norco, Santa Fe and Tesoro move in from Division II

Los Osos and Rancho Verde move in from Division III.

Division II (goes from 1,450 to 1,839 in 2004 to 1,485 to 1,899 in 2005)

Changes
Arroyo Grande, Burban, Camarillo, Kaiser, Moreno Valley, Ontario, San Gabriel, San Gorgonio and Valley View move in from Division I

Chino Hills, Colony, Fullerton, Inglewood, Los Amigos and Vista del Lago move in from Division III.

Division III (goes from 790 to 1,449 in 2004 to 810 to 1,484 in 2005)

Changes
Bellflower, El Monte, San Bernardino and Garden Grove Santiago move in from Division II

Duarte, Nipomo, Oak Park, Palos Verdes and Vista Murrieta move in from Division IV. Carter is also in Division III.

Division IV (goes from 789 and below in 2004 to 890 and below in 2005.

Changes
Blair moves in from Division III

Schools not listed in 2004 but now listed in 2005 are Alverno (G), Animo Leadership, Antelope Valley Christian, Apple Valley Christian, Applied Scholastics, Thousand Oaks Hillcrest Christian, Los Angeles Adventist, Milken Community, Rosamond, Village Glen, Villanova Prep, West Los Angeles Baptist and Windward.

New schools are Beckman, Discovery Prep, Excelsior Education Center, Golden Valley, Great Oak, Pioneer Valley and Valley View Prep.

Schools listed in 2004 but not listed in 2005 (with 2004 enrollment) are Avalon (184), Baker Valley (40), California Academy of Math and Science (445), Calvary Baptist (41), Capistrano Valley Christian (200), CSDR (140), Desert Christian (65), Lucerne Valley (196), Midland (57), New Life Christian (41), Ribet Academy (135), Southwestern Academy (75) and Viewpoint (256). In some cases schools may have dropped track programs.
