TENTATIVE-AAF Level 1 Track & Field Clinic Agenda
Mt. San Antonio College – January 10, 2004
Detailed schedule/topics agenda at bottom of this page.

In addition to several excellent post-high school clinicians, a few very familiar faces on
the prep circuit will be involved in this weekend's AAF Track & Field Level 1 Clinic
at Mt. SAC. At left, coaches Ken Reeves and Bill Tokar of girls state Division I
champion Ventura HS break down the basics in designing your distance program while
always enlightening/entertaining speaker Tim O'Rourke (former coach at distance/throws/vault
power Arroyo HS) opens the clinic with a great keynote address pertaining to all coaches!

The very best track and field clinic series geared directly toward the high school coach will begin this Saturday, January 10, with the first AAF Level 1 Clinic to be held at Mt. SAC College beginning with registration at 7:30 AM. Not only is this great clinic series, which attracted more than 800 coaches last year, free to all coaches and interested adults who want to attend but every coach who attends the entire day at each clinic will receive a free copy of the AAF 450 page coaching manual along with a certificate of completion.
All event areas--sprints, hurdles, distances, throws, jumps, and vault—will have four hour specific beginning and intermediate sessions and there will be other sessions including hands-on prevention and taping track related injuries, advanced stretching, Olympic lifting techniques, recruiting potential athletes, building an age-group program and many other important sessions.
A great line-up of imminently successful coaches are set to present this weekend.
