Guest emcee Stuart Scott (recognize him from ESPN SportsCenter?) and Los Angeles Sparks center Lisa Leslie of the WNBA prepare to announce the girls winner!

Voila! It's Allyson Felix of Los Angeles Baptist HS!

Here, the 10 national finalists pose with guests Lisa Leslie and Baron Davis of pro basketball fame! The finalists were from track and field, basketball, football, baseball, soccer, volleyball and softball! Tons of talent in that room today, including the fastest 200-meter sprinter in the world this spring (Allyson Felix), the girl considered "the future of U.S. women's soccer" (Heather O'Reilly of New Jersey) and the #1 pick in the NBA Draft (LeBron James)!

Allyson Felix gives thanks to those so instrumental to her success, starting off by praising the good Lord and then acknowledging the support of her loving family during the season. She will compete again in three weeks in Santo Domingo! Hey, weren't you already in Paris this summer, too??? "Wherever she goes, that's OUR vacation," her dad kidded.
