The Oakland Invitational Relays is one of the top high school track and field invitationals in Northern California each year. This year will be no exception.

There are 84 high school teams participating from seven of the ten C.I.F. sections.

Central Coast Section (8 schools): Aptos, Cupertino, Harbor (Santa Cruz), Live Oak, Milpitas, Mt. Pleasant (San Jose), Riordan (San Francisco), and Valley Christian (San Jose).

Los Angeles Section (1 school): Carson (Carson).

Northern Section (2 schools): Chico and Yreka.

Oakland Section (5 schools): Castlemont, McClymonds, Oakland, Oakland Tech, and Skyline.

Sac-Joaquin Section (8 schools): Benicia, Luther Burbank (Sacramento), Davis, Merrill West (Tracy), Napa, St. Mary's (Stockton), Vacaville, and Vacaville Christian.

Southern Section (3 schools): Mater Dei (Santa Ana), Thousand Oaks, and The Webb Schools (Claremont). Dominguez (Compton) has scratched.

110H: Kevin Craddock (James Logan) 1st Stanford 14.13w, 1st NCS, Defending champion Oakland Inv., set National Age 14 record of 14.32 at Stanford in 2002. The age 15 record is 14.04. He was born June 25, 1987, so he will turn 16 on June 25th of 2003. That means that he will have until then to go after the age 15 national record. He is one of the greatest young hurdlers in United States history. Jason Bolden-Anderson (St. Mary's, Berkeley) 2nd Stanford 14.46w (14.26w heat), the 3rd NCS, and 3rd Oakland Inv.
