Mt Pleasant (San Jose), Merrill West of Tracy, James Logan (Union City), Arroyo Grande, St. Francis (Mt.View), North Highlands (Sacramento), North Salinas, Piedmont Hills

Another very impressive group will gather for this CCS Affair at Mt. Pleasant HS.

The hosts on the Girls' side have soph Galina Becker, a sub 15 second frosh hurdler last year (and 38-04.75 TJer), Jade Myles (39-03.75 TJer and 18-07.5 LJ). Merrill West has super sprinter Jennifer Nash (very strong indoors with a #8 clocking in the Nation over 55m at 7.07), Dominique Carter (56.61 400m) - oops Dominique has another sport that may tie her up a bit!! (next game Wed 3/5 against #2 ranked Kennedy of Sacramento - West is seeded #3!!) , Alexis Bartschi (2:12.52 2002 outdoors 800), Brittany Daniels (39-11.75 as frosh last year TJ), with the nation's fastest Sprint Medley Indoors at 4:02.48 in winning the Simplot Meet. The Sac Joaquin team is loaded!!! James Logan leads with a super group that has already run 46.6 for the 400m relay without basketballer Cheri Craddock, one of the nation's best sprinters at 11.83 and 24.24!! Kristina Davis (Frosh Logan star) is filling in admirably. Logan is a team that comes at you from all sides, with Brittani Dudley (12.05 100 - 24.63 200 - 55.03 400) and Talia Stewart (13.82 100mH - 42.79 300mH) leading a team very solid on the track!! Arroyo Grande has supers Billie Jo Grant, the nation's top Discus Thrower at 176-10 and Megan Howard, one of the nation's top Shot Putters at 47-00! St. Francis (Mountain View) is led by 124 foot Discus Thrower Kristen Mulenberg.

The Boys Meet has Logan, led by National Age-14 record Holder in the High Hurdles, Kevin Craddock (14.32 - 39.39 300mIH) back with a 14.3 already this season! Michael Strong (Logan) was 21-10.75 at the Simplot Games in the LJ, with Angelo Jeffrey the State Find of the year so far, with the Junior a 47-04.25 Triple Jump indoors that ranks him twelfth in the entire nation during a short undercover season. Jeffrey is also a top sprinter with a 6.2 55m indoors!! Arroyo Grande has a super weight group back, with Alec Grietens (53-01 SP 168-05), Chad Simonson (168-00), Jarred Sola (163-11 already in 2003), and Stephen Field (50-05.75 at LA Indoors) on the Boys' side! Junior Ronnie Drumer (North, Salinas) was 10.79 (100m - 10.74w) and 21.69 (200m - 21.66w) last year, one of the state's best!!
