the starting blocks - Olympic level has become so scientific that if you
are "too fast" in your reaction it is called automatically (through
speaker in the starter's ear) that someone was anticipating the gun and
was prematurely rolling off the blocks, even though it may have appeared
they just had a "lightning" start)
