make history if she becomes the first U.S. woman or man to win four consecutive
USA 15 km road titles. Keflezighi, 27, returns for a For the tenth consecutive year, the Gate River Run 15K will host the
USA Championships with a competitive U.S. field including other top American
distance runners including Abdi Abdirahman, Nick Rogers, Marla Runyan,
Colleen De Reuck and Amy Rudolph. In addition to national road titles, The guaranteed USA Championship prize purse totals $47,000 and goes ten-deep: $10,000, $4000, $3000, $2000, $1000, $900, $800, $700, $600 and $500. The Gate River Run also offers bonuses for course, U.S. and world records ($3000, $3000 and $10,000 cumulative respectively). The Gate River Run part of the 2003 USA Running Circuit, a USA Track
& Field road series that features USA Championships from the 5K to
the marathon and offers over $340,000 in prize money and a $25,000 grand
prix. Per USARC race, the first ten U.S. runners earn points (15 for The Gate River Run, will be shown on a live webcast by WJXT TV-4 on race
