San Rafael Twilight Relays. Saturday, March 8, 2003 - San Rafael HS - Race Entrants - Jason Jacobsen

Coaches,

Thank you all in advance for attending the third annual San Rafael Twilight
Relays this Saturday, March 8, 2003, starting at 5:30 pm. We look forward
to hosting your teams and providing a magical experience for your athletes.
Here are the final instructions and information regarding the San Rafael
Twilight Relays.

Team Check In
When you arrive, please send a representative to pick up your team packet.
If you have not already done so, please pay your team entry fee at this
time. Checks should be made out to San Rafael High School.

Heat Sheets
These are all contained in this email and will be in your entry packet.

Race Seeding
In the sprint races, the first heats are generally slower the heats and the
last 1 to 2 heats have the faster teams based on estimated times provided.
In the distance races, the speed is a bit more spread out, however, the top
teams are generally in the latter of the heats.

Relay Race Check In
All teams must check in prior to their event. Please have the anchor leg
member ONLY check in and the other team members wait on the inside of the
track. The anchor leg member will wear the hip number on their LEFT hip for
the automatic timing. Team members will be escorted to their proper track
position depending on the relay leg. We will have extra batons, but please
feel free to use your own. Please make sure spikes are no longer than ¼
inch.

Key School Information
There will be a concessions stand open. Long sleeve t-shirts will be sold
for $20. Athletes and coaches get into the event for free; all others must
pay the $5 entry fee for admittance. The school gym will be open as an
athlete area for warming up and stretching. San Rafael HS athletes and
personnel will be available for any help you need (in red, white, and gray).
Please help keep our facility clean by using available trash cans.

Awards
The top three marks in each event will receive a medal. Awards will be
presented throughout the event once marks are compiled.

HAVE FUN
This will be a great event. Thank you so much in advance for your
participation. See you all UNDER THE LIGHTS!!!
