Bellarmine Relays - Saturday March 1st, 2003

Invited teams are St. Mary's of Berkeley, DeLaSalle, Moreau Catholic, Bishop O'Dowd, Presentation of San Jose, Notre Dame of San Jose and a few smaller schools

Cameron Potter catches Melissa Grelli (Presentation, San Jose) this past cross-country season with the CCS star one of the headliners in this next weekend's Bellarmine Relays!!

On the Boys side, St. Mary's is led by fine hurdler Jason Bolden-Anderson (14.66), with De La Salle (Concord) UCLA Football Signee Maurice Drew a 10.80 sprinter (22.21 200). Moreau Catholic has sprinter John Flaaten (22.24) and fine distance runner Brandon Carballo (4:21.94 1600). Bishop O'Dowd brings in fine 800 star Tim Wallach (1:53.85), with Bellarmine Brent Taylor (166-07 DT the team's top performer).

Young ladies have St. Mary's with fine long sprinter Willa Porter (57.32 400), with distance runner Gabi Rios-Sotelo (5:08.19 1600) team leaders. Moreau Catholic has fine hurdler/jumper Rachael Shaffner (15.45 100H -5-06 HJ). O'Dowd has jumpers Shanice Kelly (38-01 TJ) and Keishee Hill (37-10.5 TJ). Presentation (SJ) brings strong distance runners Mandy Williams (2:18.14 800) and one of the nation's best in Melissa Grelli (4:59.49 1600 and 10:36.68 3200).
