Ashlee Brown (North, Riverside)

(Race One) - Tall Shaina Wright (Stockdale, Bakersfield) edged away from the pack to win here. (Race Two) - Unique Anderson (Temescal Canyon, Elsinore) looked strong with a good run from the first couple of strides, movingn away form the pack to win by a couple of meters. Boys 50 Meters (Race One) Outside of the track had Baumar Brumfield (SD Uni City), Khalid-Abdul Rahim (LB Poly) and Brandon Giles (Harvard-Westlake) edge away from the others, with Giles getting our guess as the winner from behind (but that's why they have those photo machines!) - (Race Two) Brandon Goodwin (Stagg, Stockton) was the winner here, very strong, with finger in the air at the finish. (Race Three/Four) - Chad Green (Birmingham, Van Nuys) announced as the heat winner (Heat Five) great group of Satewide sprinters - It quickly developed into a two person race with Reggie Bush (Helix) and Derrick Jones (LB Poly) - It seemed that Jones closed best over the final 15 meters to take the win.

He stepped out to a 10 meter lead quickly, with a 3:15.4 at the 1320 with a 40m lead there. Trafeh, smooth as silk, continued to power away, racing the final 440 in just over 61 on the way to an unofficial 4:17.3 win.

Girls Seeded Mile - Anna Farias-Eisner (Harvard-Westlake) was the leader through the 440 at 71, with 50 meters at that point over Cassia Roth (Nevada). Lauren Mulkey (Woodcreek, Roseville) ran third and looked good through the 880. Farias-Eisner still led at 2:34.9 through the 880, still with 50 meters. Mulkey moved past into second at that point, and started to edge close. At the 1320 in 4:00, Lauren Mulkey went by and took the lead. Over the final couple of laps Stephanie Hamilton (San Lorenzo Valley) came on strong, taking the lead during the final lap. Mulkey dug down in the final 50 meters, edging up and just by at the tape for the win.
