Is Poe heading to his new 'home'?/Phillip Reid to go to Arkansas also!!

California's 4:12 1600 stars Michael Poe (left) and Phillip Reid (right photo here ahead of Michael Haddan in Cross-Country) both off to Arkansas this coming weekend!!

Michael Poe (Etiwanda HS, So. Sec.) travels to "Hog Country" as part of a fine collection on prep talent assembled for the Tyson Invite. The boys mile is the only HS event being run on this evening, with world-class stars filling the rest of the meet schedule. Of interesting note, we know Mike and a few of the others racing here are being recruited by the perennial powerhouse Arkansas program, so it seems like a great marketing tool, woudn't you say? Additionally, we've heard Steven Hassen (top Florida HS senior) will be taking his recruiting trip this weekend. Talk about pulling out all the stops for the same weekend! ;-) Phillip Reid is definitely going to this super race on a great facility!!! Mike Poe has agreed to do a post-race phone interview with DyeStatCal, offering his account of the race and sharing the excitement from the meet!
