A weekend at Six Flags Theme Park & Mammoth |

The Cerritos High School Cross Country team
enjoyed a weekend in Valencia for our annual varsity camp
at Six Flags with the theme "Conquer Your Fears," which was composed
of challenges, events, and of course some fun.

The team also traveled with a twelve-car caravan
to Mammoth in order to host their annual Mammoth Camp. The camp consisted
of
various challenges which created a face off between the boys (black, red)
and the girls (white, yellow) and of course , the counselors (gray)
. Each condo was assigned an area theme: Hollywood, Las Vegas, Hawaii, Southwest,
and New Orleans in order to focus their events for
the week including a concert, creating appetizers and desserts and participating
in our annual camp olympics. The Black Condo helped
the boys win for the first time in four years! Other activities including
golfing, Convict Lake, stargazing and some fun at the lake.
