On Saturday, July 7 of 2005, four "Royal
Runners" past and present competed in the
Lake Castaic Mountain Bike Triathlon. It was a first-time triathlon for each
of them
and they did great! Senior-to-be Jason Pedersen was the overall winner with
a time of 42:46,
Royal alum Dylan Jaedtke (now heading to Long Beach State) was second with
a time of 43:18,
junior Hudson Andrews was third with a time of 43:55 and Kevin Sullivan was
fourth in 44:36.
A Royal/Long Beach State Sweep! Kevin would have been closer but he had some
bike troubles.
