With the first race at 7:00, we are hoping that the prevailing winds will have died down and fast times will be abundant for your runners.

These races are for Varsity runners. Limited to 18 entries per event.

The start times listed will be adhered to as closely as possible. Races will not start before the time listed. The track has 9 lanes and is all-weather.
All-weather means rain or not, we are racing. Lynx timing.

We realize that this early in the season, athletes may not have run these times or these distances. However, as a coach, you would probably have an idea of what your runners are capable. The times that you submit will be published in the program, so please use your best reasonable estimate.

For the 5000 m. qualifying times, use your athlete’s time on the Mt. SAC cross country course last fall. If your runner didn’t run Mt. SAC, call the meet director.

Due to the limited number of entries (18) available in each race, the entry deadline for the night portion will be Monday March 3, 2003 (postmark) and by e-mail on Wednesday March 5. Do not send checks until confirmation from the seeding committee.

The decision to add a night portion to the meet was to provide a racing opportunity under ideal conditions for distance runners in the early season, and to make available a venue where fast times could be posted for qualifying for later meets.
