All The Youth Services Section of the Los Angeles Unified School District has sponsored All-Comer track meets since 1960. For the next 6 weeks we will be holding meets at 3 sites beginning June 26 and concluding on August 2. San Pedro High School will host the meets on Tuesday nights, Birmingham School of Lake Balboa on Wednesday nights and the Santee Education Complex in Los Angeles on Thursday nights. Open to anyone 5 and older,the free meets attract athletes of all skill levels, from the first time runner to the national level runner looking for a qualifying time. The Youth Meet, for athletes middle school age and younger begins at 6pm and the Adult Meet follows usually around 7:30pm. The meet is run by some of the top officials, athletes and coaches in Southern California. Scott King, Meet Director |
