Dear Coaches,

On behalf of the Modesto Relays Committee I would like to formally invite your

athletes to compete in the 66^th annual Coca-Cola Modesto Relays on May 5^th.

This year we will be running 2 heats of high school boys and girls 4 x 100 as well

as 2 heats of boys and girls 100M dash. If there is enough interest we will run one

�heat of girls and boys 4 x 400. These events will take place just after the invitational

races featuring some of America�s and the World�s best. What better way to tune up

for sections and state than to compete in front of a capacity crowd of world class

athletes, coaches, and fans on a track that has produced 33 world records.

There is no entry fee. I will accept and verify the top 18 teams and individuals in

both events. All participants and coaches will receive an official Modesto Relays T-shirt.

Athletes and coaches will also enjoy an exciting day of world-class track & field.

If you are interested in competing at the 66th Coca-Cola Modesto Relays please inform

me by email or phone by April 10th. Please include your team�s current best time with

your entry. I will put together the final entries and post them on the Modesto Relays

web-site at www.modestorelays.org. You can also refer to this site for the schedule of

events and meet information. Feel free to contact me with any other questions.

We are excited to host this event and hope you can compete. We hope to provide the fans

a glimpse of California�s best high school relay teams & sprinters. Thanks and good luck
