Torrance H.S. will be hosting a midweek Distance Carnival in 2007. There will be relays for both distance and sprinters. I will have the traditional 4x800, 4x1600, and DMR along with an open mile. Yes, a mile to honor Mr. Zamperini. For the sprinters, we will run a 8x200 and a unique Sprint Medley that will consist of a 200, 200, 600, and 400. The meet will be open to all levels. My idea is for coaches to bring their athletes to get a workout, compete and have fun. Also they will get baton work as well.

The date is Wednesday March 7, 2007.
New start time is 4:00pm (revised on January 22, 2007)
Location is Zamperini Stadium ( stadium is located off campus)
Cost $150.00 per team

Mr. Zamperini will turn 90 in January and I am hoping he will be in attendance.
