Palmdale / Pete Knight High Schools are proud to host the 15th Annual Herb Wyre Invitational

on Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Pete Knight High School.� This meet will be conducted rain or shine.�

Come be a part of this exciting track meet and join the debut of Pete Knight High School�s 9 lane All-weather

Divisions: There will be two divisions this year:

Large Schools (Division A) based on C.I.F. enrollment

Small Schools & JV (Division B) based on C.I.F. enrollment

Awards: �Top three finishers in each event.� First and Second Place Team Awards for both Large and

Small schools Boys and Girls.�

Entry fees: $150.00 per team, boys and girls:� $300 for both.� If you are competing in the Large

School division and will also have athletes in the JV division there will be an additional $50 fee. Checks

payable to Palmdale Track �Booster Club.� �������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������

Spectators $5, students with ID $3, children 7 and under free. $50. per division (Max $200.00 per school).���������

Spectators $3.00, children 7 and under free.

Entries will be done through www.Directathletics.com� There will be no meet day entries

Entries will Close Tues. Feb. 27,2007 at 6PM There will be no exceptions

Events: ����� Automated Timing System

������������������� RELAYS: Shuttle Hurdles, 4x100, 4x800, 8x200, 4x400,

������������������� Distance Medley (1200, 400, 800, 1600), Sprint Medley (100,100,200,400)

������������� ����� RUNNING EVENTS: (2 athletes per event) 100, 1600

FIELD EVENTS: (3 athletes per event) Shot Put, Discus, Triple Jump, Long Jump, (four attempts, no finals)

High Jump, Pole Vault. �Each athlete�s best mark will be added together for a team score, all 3 of the top

3 teams in each field event will receive a medal.

Time:�������� All events start at 9:00 a.m.

Concessions, tee shirts, and spikes will be available for purchase.

Spikes required are 3/16 needles.�

All athletes will have their shoes checked at the entrance.
