- Meet Information -

 

Entry Fee: $175.00 per school. Please make checks payable to Sierra High School. It is preferred that payments be made prior to the day of the meet. Mail to: 1700 Thomas Street, Manteca, CA 95337 attention Lisa Shrock.

Entry Information: As this is an early season meet, pre-meet entries are not necessary. Entry sheets will be available in the coaches’ packets. They need to be filled out and given to the clerk of the course before the first running event at 10:00 am.

Spectator Admission Fee: $4.00 for adults. $2.00 for students. Uniformed team members and coaches are free.

Parking: Buses please park in Tully Road parking lot across the street from east stands. There is no fee to park on the MJC campus on Saturdays, though parking regulations are enforced.

Packet Pick-Up: Pick up your packets at the Tully Road gate entrance.

Coaches Meeting: Will be held on the high jump apron at approximately 8:45 am.

Warm-up Area: Warm-ups for all running events must take place on the grass field north of the track. Athletes will enter and exit through the north gate clerk area behind the 110m/100m starting line.

Athlete Consideration-Team Areas: Team areas should be located adjacent to the north of the track under the trees or in the east stands. No tents will be allowed in the west stands.

Awards: Medals to the top three teams in relay events and to the top six individuals in running and field events. Trophies will be awarded to the top three teams in all divisions. A sweepstakes plaque awarded to the top overall team. All awards will be distributed to coaches shortly following the conclusion of the meet from the north press box.

Timing: Automatic timing system with manual back-up.

Results: Results will be posted on the ply-boards in the middle of the east stands shortly after the conclusion of the event. Overall meet results will be e-mailed to coaches and posted on www.dyestatcal.com.

Scoring: Scoring for events will be 10-8-6-4-2-1

Spike length: MJC’s facility requires spikes that are no longer than 1/4” in length. Spikes will be checked by the jump officials and clerk prior to the event. Please come prepared, as we will not be selling spikes this year.

Check-In: Athletes must check-in 20 minutes prior to the start of their event at the event site or the clerk-of-the-course. Please note that we run a ‘rolling’ track schedule, so coaches and athletes are advised to keep track of when events are announced, and the schedule.

T-Shirts: T-shirts will be available for sale at the meet. Long and short sleeve t-shirts will be available along with sweatshirts.
