Nothing has changed! Run there this summer.

Summer Runs at Joaquin Miller Park

What: One and two mile run/races with Cross Country in mind! It is Free! No entry fee!

Why: Easy to compete. We want to expose the sport of Cross Country to all. We want this to be a low key event. We encourage all to get involved in Cross Country/running for fun and fitness.

When: Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm. These dates this year 2005: August 17th, and 24th. We start with a one-mile run and then have a two-mile run.

Where: Joaquin Miller Park in Oakland, California. Race starts in the meadow area. The park is on Joaquin Miller Road, .80 of a mile above Warren Freeway #13. If you are familiar with the Woodminster Run, this is the start area.

Who: Anyone. Adults, students, athletes, age group runners. Last year we had over 70 runners from ages 5-70 in our final race. This is a great place for Cross Country individuals and teams to meet on Wednesday for a run.
