38th Annual Colton Swarm
Cross-Country Invitational

Date: Saturday Sept. 10, 2005
Location: Colton High School 777 W. Valley Blvd., Colton , CA 92324
Directions: Take the 10 freeway until you reach the Rancho exit. This is just a couple of miles west of the 215/10 freeway interchange. Go north on Rancho ¼ mile. Busses and/or spectators may park north of the gym which is just past the overhead bridge walkway on the west side of Rancho.

Course: STADIUM START AND FINISH ON BRAND NEW ALL-WEATHER TRACK! Generally a flat loop course about 2/3 on grass and all weather track. There is a grade and a bridge to go over. Flat and fast. Great for first race/first timers! Course will be faster this year with ½ mile of dirt replaced with the all-weather track. Site of 2005 CBL Track Finals.
Course record is 14:56 by Jimmy Ortiz of Barstow/UCLA. Girls is 17.29 by Bridget Freyne of Riverside Poly. Last years winners TEAM- GIRLS: Redlands East Valley 100.41 BOYS: Don Lugo 79.54 (new course record). Individual-GIRLS: Grace Gonzales Don Lugo 19.18 BOYS: Fitsum Tesfa Don Lugo 15.08.
Cost: $5.00 per runner $100 maximum for single gender teams, $150 maximum for 2 gender teams. May be sent in with form below or paid on race day. You may just e-mail using same format and pay on race day. Responses will be confirmed. Same day entries OK! We’ll have extra race packets. Please send entries as soon as possible so confirmations can be sent

Race Times: Girls Fresh. 7:30 Boys Fresh. 8:00
Girls Soph. 8:30 Boys Soph. 9:00
Girls Junior 9:30 Boys Junior 10:00
Girls Senior 10:30 Boys Senior 11:00

Awards: Top 30 in each race get medals. Top 3 boys and girls teams using their top 5 combined times from any race will get plaques. Top overall boy and girl from each race will get a plaque.

Results: Results will be posted shortly after each race and e-mailed that night to those who gave their e-mail at check-in. All others will have them sent in the mail. Results and photos can be found at dyestatcal.com that night or the next day.

Food: There will be a snack bar with food and drink next to the gym.
