Toro Teambuilder (Seaside HS)
Cross-Country Invitational

Come join us September 3rd, 2005 on last year's CCS Championship course at Toro Park in Salinas. This early meet was created for all those programs that want to build up for next year's championships. Ours is a spirit of fun and creative teambuilding. Since this is our first year, we spared no expense on our awards! The novelty race at the end of the day will no doubt become our most enjoyable race: for those of you not familiar with "centipede racing", this is when all the members of your team are joined together into what we fondly refer to as a "human charm bracelet". This can be done in a number of creative ways. See you at Toro !

Race Times:

9:00 JV Girls
9:30 JV Boys
10:00 F/S Girls
10:30 F/S Boys
11:00 Varsity Girls
11:30 Varsity Boys
12:00 Open Centipede (non-scoring)

Awards:

Medals to top 20 individuals, and plaques to top three teams in each race. Also, in the spirit of team building, special awards will be given for these categories: fastest 6/7 combined time; closest gap time between 1 through 5; schools with strongest cheering sections around the whole course.

Entry Information:

Fees are $100 maximum for school, $20 per team/race, and $5 per individual. For non-Excel format rosters, the cutoff is August 24th. If your roster is in Excel format, the cutoff is September 1st. Make sure your roster contains the athlete’s name, and grade. Finishline and results will be managed by Mark McConnell. Email Excel roster to: [email protected].
