WHEN: Saturday, March 19th, 2005

WHERE: Grizzly Stadium .Los Osos HS, Rancho Cucamonga
Located in the Inland Valley near Ontario, Los Osos is 6 miles north of Interstate 10, On Milliken Ave.

WHAT: Invitational format for varsity athletes using CIF order of events. Each event will be limited to the top 45 athletes to enter. Pole vault will be limited to 24 competitors and rest of field events will be limited to the top 36 competitors..

FACILITIES: Grizzly stadium boasts a nine-lane all-weather track. Accutrak® timing will be used to give your athletes early season marks..

ENTRY FEES
Entry fees are $4.00 per athlete per event. You will be billed according to the athletes accepted into the meet. We will notify schools by March 8th of entries and alternates. Maximum team entry fee $125 per gender division. $250 max per school. Adds will be accepted on the day of the meet only if there have been scratches in the athlete's event. Unless a school has paid the per team entry fee, adds will be charged $8 per athlete, per event.

SCRATCHES
Coaches may scratch athletes on-line, prior to March 17th,. No refunds on scratches, after march 17th or the day of the meet.

TIMING
Accutrak® automatic timing will be used for all races.

CLERK OF THE COURSE-CHECK IN
The check-in area will be located at the east end of the stadium. The meet
announcer will not provide a first call, second and third call for each
event. Those calls will be made at the check-in and staging area and
athletes are responsible for getting to their events on time. An order of
events and corresponding time schedule will be provided throughout the
stadium.

TEAM SCORING
We will not be scoring the meet. Instead, we would like to focus on the individual aspect of the meet.

SEEDING
The Grizzly Invitational will use a performance-based seeding system. Heats will be slowest to fastest based upon performance marks submitted. We encourage coaches to submit real standards and not estimates of performance where possible. We encourage all coaches to help us keep the meet honest when submitting marks.
ENTRIES
An athlete may enter four events per CIF and NFHSA rules.
AWARDS
Medals will be given to the top six individuals and the top four relays in the invitational heats or flights, three places in the open competition. Meet management will select a top boy and girl from the running events and a top boy and girl from the field events for individual outstanding recognition.
RADIOS
Personal compact disc, cassette, or MP3 players will be allowed into the
stadium. However, no boom boxes will be permitted.
