Vaqueros Stampede Cross Country Invitational Saturday, September 4, 2004 at Lindo Lake Park in Lakeside

Dear Coach,

The Vaqueros Stampede Cross Country Invitational will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2004 at Lindo Lake Park in Lakeside. The races will be held largely over the course of past years with minor alterations due to new buildings.

With an individual based format that allows the coach an early chance to look at their team in grade level races, the invitational also gives coaches a chance to get their kids “race experience” in an early, low key, but competitive meet.Race distances are 1.65 for everyone except Junior/Senior boys who race over a 2.15 course. Each race, freshman/sophomore and junior/senior, will award 25 places for athletes, with a Movin’ Shoes gift certificate for race winners. We will again offer two division sizes (Large, Small).

If you are interest in participating in this years meet we ask that you contact me as quickly as possible. For the first time we are asking coaches to send emails to express their interest in our meet. A simple email containing contact info and school interested will be sufficient. Please have emails sent before August 1st, 2004.

$125 total for Girls and Boys Teams
If under 5 runners per race -- $6 per individual
