    The 2nd Annual Jim Arquilla Memorial 5K Run will take place
on and around the Wilson Classical High School campus on Saturday,
August 21, 2004 at 8:00 A.M. The "Arkie" Run is in memory of the
Bruins' long time cross country and distance coach. Arkie passed away
a year ago in May from melanoma cancer.
    The proceeds from the run will go to a scholarship fund, in
his name, and a memorial bench that will be placed near the track in
the spring of 2005.
    The cost of the run will be $5.00 for high school runners and
younger (a good tune-up for the upcoming season) and $10.00 for all
others (runners, walkers and those who wish to just contribute.)
Trophies will be given to the top 5 men and 5 women finishers.
Registration can be done on the day of the race beginning at 7:00
