Upland's Ryan Gamboa (left) made his break near the two-mile mark to

featured boys race to defeat La Sierra's Knight Twins in an outcome
which
mirrored the team battle as Upland prevailed there too, 46-84. For the
girls,
it was Corona's Ashley Evans (#602 in right photo) withstanding an early
challenge from Hemet's Kendra Mueller to win. Teamwise, Great Oak upset
Murrieta Valley and Redlands to win its first Inland Empire girls crown!
