Note on Christy Adamyk's pre-race 'routine' before the record:
Just a side note on Christy's race today.

Christy was stretching on the grass, next to the airstrip (not paying attention) when the gun went off
for her race. She all of a sudden jumped up, climbed thru the fence and started therace about 7-10
seconds behind the other girls. I'm just glad it was not CIF finals.

Business and Marketing Manager Kirsten O'Hara, a former Palos Verdes HS & UC Berkeley
standout who placed 5th at Foot Locker Nat'ls before being 5-time collegiate All-American,
is now a member of the "See Jane Run" club and was the overall winner of the Women's
Division Manhattan Beach 10k in 36:19! Wow!!! The marketing/business specialist for
DyeStat and DyeStatCal projects, we always wondered what she meant when she'd
tell us, "I'm going to go out and run down that billing." Now we know what she means!
