Samuels was at the Arcadia Invite 2003 and 2005 - he was third to Xavier Carter (left below) as a soph
in 2003, racing a blazing soph 10.49 clocking (Carter cranked an amazing 10.38-20.85-46.72 triple!)

Jamere Holland hands J-Mee Samuels one of his two 2005 100m defeats with a
10.52-10.58 win in early April (John Dye) - Samuels returned the favor over 200m 21.10-21.34
Samuels went on to win the Nike Outdoor National 100 & 200 and Jr National 100m
in June and will lead the US 100m group at the Pan Ams in Windsor, Canada this week!!

US fans will get unprecedented coverage of World Championships in Helsinki
A new webcast service (see www.wcsn.com) will offer start to finish live coverage
(58 hours in all) of the IAAF World Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Helsinki
Finland August 6-14. Every heat will be shown live and every event will be archived
an hour after the event for later retrieval by subscribers. Subscriptions for the entire meet
will be $14.95, and one-day subscriptions will be $3.95. Viewers will need broadband
internet access with at least 350 kb per second bandwidth. In addition to the webcast, there
will be a daily 1-hour highlight show on PAX and Comcast Sports. In a free preview of the
new technology, the Bislett Games in Oslo Norway July 29 will be webcast. This will be the first Bislett
Games in Oslo's newly renovated stadium, and it will feature US runners such as Bernard Lagat,
Alan Webb, Galen Rupp, and Adam Goucher.
