"Brea 8K Traveling T Shirt Quilt"
Girls Cross Country Coach Pam Valenti explained the history of the Brea 8K Classic Road Race to new BOHS Principal Jerry Halpin. Pam ran in all twelve Brea 8Ks and contributed most of the t shirts for the quilt. The Brea 8K is organized by the BOHS Academic, Cross Country and Track & Field Booster clubs with support from the Brea Mall, the City of Brea and over 50 local businesses. All registered runners enjoy a fabulous feast at the finish line with great food provided by Brea’s finest restaurants. More than 1,000 participants are expected at the 13th Annual Brea 8K on Sunday, February 29, 2004. Entry forms are available at the Brea Community Center, local race sponsors and online at www.brea8k.org.  For additional info, call the Brea 8K hotline at 255-2921.
