FIELD EVENTS
------------
We'd like to try an OPEN PIT this year for all field events. This
allows the athletes to compete when they want to so conflicts with
other events should not occur. The plan is as follows:

DISC
  Two flights (10:00 - 11:30 and 12:15 - 1:45). This would allow
warm up time before each flight and if an athlete had to leave,
they could finish their throws in the second flight, if needed.

SHOT
  Two flights (10:45 - 12:15 and 12:45 - 2:15). This would allow
warm up time before each flight and if an athlete had to leave,
they could finish their throws in the second flight, if needed.

HIGH JUMP
  Two flights (10:00 - 11:30 and 12:15 - 1:45). This would allow
warm up time before each flight. The starting height would be
3' for both flights. The will be a second HJ pit set up for
  warm up purposes.

LONG JUMP
  Two flights (10:45 - 12:15 and 12:45 - 2:15). This would allow
warm up time before each flight and if an athlete had to leave,
they could finish their jumps in the second flight, if needed.
We would have a second pit open for warm up purposes.

If there are any questions or concerns with this "OPEN PIT" idea
please let us know ASAP.

Implement weigh-in can be done at the Team Captain check in or
during the road races.

CHECK-IN
--------
Team captain check-in will be at the track from 1:00 - 6:00 on
Friday before the Nationals.

MISC
----
A great place to take your team pictures is on the steps at the
front of the school. This area has been used in a number of
movies and is quite dramatic.
