Needed: Meet Director for corporate track meets in February and June. This is a volunteer (unpaid) position.

BACAA (Bay Area Corporate Athletic Association) is a volunteer effort dedicated to promoting the health and long-term fitness of corporate employees. We organize and administer several track meets throughout the year and we support several road races by our active participation.

• Work with interested parties within BACAA to establish dates and locations for the events.
• Handle negotiations and paperwork with the host locations.
• Handle paperwork for insurance.
• Arrange for qualified First Aid at the meet.
• Ongoing communication as needed with all interested parties.
• Organize and lead the administration, operation and scoring of the meets.
• Publish scoring of the meets to teams and interested parties.
• Ensure proper payments of all use fees and other payables. This is done with the cooperation of the Treasurer.
• Anything else that needs to be done before, during or after the meet to make sure it is a success!
