Nike Camps Presents

Nike High Altitude Rocky Mountain Cross Country Camps

June 20th - 25th , June 28th - July 2nd, July 6th - 11th, and July 14th - 19th, 2007
Crested Butte Academy

Location
Located at Crested Butte Academy (elevation 8,880ft), a college preparatory boarding school set up for strong academics and athletics, Crested Butte
Academy is designed to help the gifted athlete reach his or her goals on the playing field. Crested Butte is located in the heart of the Rocky
Mountains with ridged 13,000ft peaks surrounding the town, with valleys that wind and twist throughout the rugged wilderness of one of the most beautiful country sides in the World. Crested Butte is truly a runner's paradise, over the last year and a half, the academy has produced a three-footlocker finalist, 4:07 1600m runner, and 7 high school All-Americans. Crested Butte is located within a mountain range South of Aspen Colorado. Crested Butte is where Mountain Biking was started which makes for great trail runs throughout Gunnison Valley.

Another exciting thing for our academy and camps is the merger with IMG Academies out of Bradenton Florida, which will allow us to become the most
innovative training center on the planet. IMG Academies have brought along the likes of Maria Sharapova, Andrea Agassi, Monica Seles and more.

Nike High Altitude Cross Country Camps will be run out of a new venue in the summer of 2007 because of the merger.

Features
The 3rd annual Nike High Altitude Rocky Mountain Cross Country Camps have become the most innovative camps on the planet. In just its 2nd year, they have had 38 states and 5 footlocker finalists in attendance and many top college runners in the land training throughout the summers in Crested Butte and serving as counselors during the camps.
