This is the 19th annual running of the meet that has become the premier high school track and field championship meet of the year.  From the 5k on Thursday night through the closing 4x400 relays on Saturday night, there is brilliant competition without a break except for sleep.  The brightest star last year was German Fernandez with his USR 2-mile of 8:34.40.  Who will it be this year?

Last Year

German Fernandez CA broke Jeff Nelson's national record for 2 miles with a stunning solo, front running performance.  No one is expected to repeat this.

Eleanor Roosevelt MD won't have Tasha Stanley back to defend their 4x200 and 4x400 titles, but new runners have them top seeded again in three sprint relays.
