What is the SET Summit? A Hands-on clinic and seminar for athletes and coaches alike. The 2007 event will feature two new disciplines and a seminar on injury prevention and treatment. 2007 DISCIPLINES: Speed: Sprints (55m – 400m) Endurance: 800-5000 Technique: Sprints, Hurdles, horizontal jumps, high jump and shot put. DATE & TIME: Friday, March 9, 2007. 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm Sprint Symposium – Saturday, March 10, 2007 - 11:00 am-12noon TECHNICAL CLINICS: Concurrent breakout sessions will follow a brief introduction of clinicians and elite athletes. Sessions in each discipline will follow with athletes and coaches having the opportunity to actually learn skills being demonstrated. INJURY PREVENTION & REHAB SYMPOSIUM: Presented by the NIN medical staff. Learn simple measures to prevent common injuries and how to treat them when they occur. ENDURANCE SYMPOSIUM: Professional Nike athletes will return to join high school coaches in this very popular, standing-room only presentation. Training schedules, handling special situations will be discussed among other topics.
