MVP's are South Carolina freshman Jasmine Stowers (187), who upset Teona Rodgers in the 100H in 13.72w (right), and Jamaal Wilson of the Bahamas, who tied the meet record in high jump at 7-2.

 2004 - Most of meet washed out by rain on Saturday; completed on Sunday. Before the deluge, Natasha Hastings NY, with a new bleached hair do (right), won a great 100m in 11.61 over Lauren Austin FL 11.70 and Bianca Knight MS 11.82.  


 
 2003 - Stephanie Smith (left) streaks around 400 meters in 52.14, breaking the 26-year-old Golden South meet record (52.77) held by Olympian Robin Campbell. Xavier Carter is upset by Travis Padgett in 100, but wins the 200. Khadija Talley and Wes Stockbarger double in throws.
