- SO#3/US#21 The Woodlands TX opened its season with a victory at the Friday Night Lights (Woodlands) Invite, placing 5 in top 9.
- SO#1/US#12 Southlake Carroll TX scored 64 to win the team title at the Marcus I Invite.
Girls- SO#6 The Woodlands TX hosted the Friday Night Lights Invite, but it was SO#7 Cinco Ranch TX taking team honors 68-76.
- SO#3 Clear Lake TX captured the team trophy with 53 points at the Austin ISD Invite.
- SO#1 Southlake Carroll TX had 3 of the top 7 while scoring 69 for the team title at the Marcus I Invite
- SO#2 Kingwood easy winner at Andy Wells Invite.
