Class 4A Highlights
  • Increasing distance on each throw, Jordan Clarke (Bartlett sr) betters his US #1 Shot Put with a 71-03.00; Clarke also wins discus with his 176-03
  • Jake Parisien (Palmer sr) wins 3200m run in 9:11.27 to hand Trevor Dunbar (Kodiak jr) a rare Alaska loss; Dunbar placed second with his 9:13.68
  • Paige Blackburn (Soldotna sr) with an impressive 136-05 discus throw and 41-02.75 shot put  
  • Tables turn in the 1600m run with Dunbar (4:15.78) over Parisien (4:20.30)
  • Juneau-Douglas distance girls Leah Francis and Katie Krehlik go 1-2 in the 3200m run (11:02.16/ 11:16.30); Francis went on to win the 800m (2:16.94) and 1600m (5:00.65)
  • Service junior Ben Jackson 44-05.25 TJ win, 21-03.50 LJ and 6-06.00 HJ first place tie with Chris Plooy (Dimond jr)
  • Lauren Laichak (Dimond sr) with hurdle double, 15.58 100m hurdles and 46.76 300m hurdles
  • Dimond girls collect relay points in 4x100 (51.52) and 4x200 (1:47.04) helping gain the team title
Class 123A Highlights
  • JJ Lende (Haines) takes first in the 800m (2:19.79), 1600m (5:05.36), and 3200m (11:23.28) runs
  • The 200m title goes to Kim Wilson (Hutchinson) for her 26.29, as well as the long jump (15-09.25) and triple jump (36-04.75) golds
  • Drew Edwards (Grace Christian) won the 100m dash (11.55), the 200m dash (23.22) and the 400m dash (50.08)
