| Jesuit OR sweeps Danner division team titles
"When you’ve been coaching cross country as long as 26-year Jesuit mentor Tom Rothenberger, you learn to coach the teams you're given, instead of imposing strategies that might have worked with successful teams in past seasons. For this year’s Jesuit program, that means decidedly different approaches for the nationally-ranked girls team and the steadily-improving boys team..." - Meet story by Dave Devine

The Jim Danner Championship races are the big prizes on Saturday, and leading the way will be hometown squad Jesuit High School. The Jesuit OR girls are the only Harrier Super 25 team in either field, ranked US#11 and NW#1 in the most recent polls. The boys haven’t cracked the national ranking yet, but they reside at NW#2 in the most recent regional rankings, just behind US#1 North Central WA.
Jesuit’s boys and girls have to be considered the favorites, after their impressive performances last weekend against top Washington teams at the South Whidbey Invite. Nevertheless, they’ll face stiff competition from inside and outside the region.... Dave Devine's Meet Preview
