The star of the show in 4A is Ralson Valley’s Katie Vannatta. The Sophomore is the 4A state record holder with a time of 10:40.66. Her fasest time this year (11:17.16) is still the #1 seed by a way. Vannatta is the 3rd seed in the 1600 but many are picking her to defeat Jen Webers (Conifer) 5:07.69.

5A Girls: This has been Sarah Cocco’s season. The senior from Fairview has the top seed in the 1600 (4:52.08), 3200 (10:49.54) and 800 (2:07.91). Last season Cocco won the 800 by running 2:10.
