Heather Bates CO and Warrick Campbell NM double. The first GSW Indoor meet featured Heather Bates and Warrick Campbell. Pine Creek (Colorado Springs, Colo.) freshman Bates, who was 7th at NXN Southwest regional in November and qualified for NXN Nationals, won totally solo tours in the mile (5:20.62) and 800m (2:24.75).  Highland (Albuquerque, N.M.) sr Campbell won the 200 (22.68) and triple jump (45-4.50) and was second in the high jump (6-0.75). Highland (Albuquerque, N.M.) boys and Amarillo (Amarillo, Texas) girls won three events, and unattached runners from Carlmont (Belmont, Calif.) won two.
