1. Potosi MO--Swept their Missouri District meet 10/28/06 to qualify for this Saturday's Missouri State meet in Jefferson City. Scored 15 points to runner-up Notre Dame (Cape Girardaeu) in the eleven team meet..

3. Ft. Zumwalt South MO--Won their central Missouri regional at Bethel Park with 36 points with Lebanon second with 64. Kyle Rood led team with 15:12 win over a fast 5k.

4. Eden Prairie MN, 6. Rosemount MN and 8. Wayzata MN--All met at a monster Minnesota sectional with only two teams advancing to state. Field included previously ranked Hopkins. Eden Prairie used front end strength to win with 74, with Rosemount also advancing with 76. Wayzata was third with 85 and a tight team pack, with Hopkins fourth with 115. See the below analysis:

3. Iowa City IA and 7. Dowling, West Des Moines IA--Iowa City wins Iowa State meet 10/28/06 with 70 points and all scorers in the top five, with Dowling second with 119 points. Urbandale third with 148 and previously ranked Johnston fourth with 154. Dowling freshman Katie Flood rauns 14:11 to win and complete undefeated season.

Blue Valley Northwest's Laura Roxberg won her third straight title with a 14:58 4k
