Roosevelt (Sioux Falls) swept the team titles at the Greater Dakota Conference Championship.  The HL #3 ranked girls, led by Bailey Breems 15:48 4k win, scored 38 points, with Stevens (Rapid City) second with 55 and O'Gorman (Sioux Falls) third with 103.  Breems was followed across the line by Madeleine Takahashi (Sturgis) in second at 15:58.  Erin Hagens (16:16) took third for Roosevelt, with Emily DeVries (Stevens 16:32) fourth and Megan Brown (Roosevelt 16:35) fifth.

Roosevelt edged Stevens 66-67 for the boy's title, with Lincoln (Sioux Falls 76) also in the hunt.  Darren Messenger (Stevens) won the 5k race in 16:44, with Mike Krsnak (Rapid City Central 17:04) edging Josh Heitkamp (Washington, Sioux Falls 17:04) for second.  Damien Schuster (Sturgis 17:08) and Jake Archigo (Roosevelt 17:10) were fourth and fifth.  Roosevelt's defending state champ Bill Kogel was eighth in 17:31 after returning from a bout of illness.
