Randall Carter (Papillon LaVista) highlighted boy's action with a 7-1 clearance in the high jump, while Omaha Central sprinters led their squad to the team title. On the girl's side of things Emily Sisson led Marian (Omaha) to the team win, scoring a 5:08.38 / 10:47.28 meet record 1600/ 3200 double. Second in both races went to Sisson's Marian teammate Kelli Budd at 5:14.27/ 11:05.43. Both ran on Marian's 9:38.21 4 x 800 winner. Omaha Westside was a close second at 9:40.91. Todd Guliza (Millard South) scored a 9:24.89 3200 first day win, and returned with a 4:20.56 1600 triumph a day later. A hot boys 4 x 800 saw Millard North run 8:00.85 to edge Omaha Westside's 8:01.25. Jasmine Johhson of Omaha Central scored 12.89/ 56.85 wins in the 100/400, and Gina Mancuso (Papillion LaVista South) scored a unique 2:22.33/ 5-2 800/ HJ double win. Megan Pierce Cramer (Benson, Omaha) swept the throws with tosses of 40-3 in the shot and 120-7 in disc, while Kyle Wheeler (Millard South) did the same in the boys throws with tosses of 55-2 and 176-0. Matt Conahan (Millard North) won the 800 in an impressive 1:55.64, and Stanley Smith (Omaha Central) triple jumped 48-4.75 on his last attempt to edge Mauro Parnell (Omaha North 48-4.)   Omaha Central boys relayed to impressive 41.74 (4 x 100 state record) and 3:20.98
