6A Wichita Northwest Regional:  Robbie Garcia leads Wichita Northwest with a 1:55.45/ 4:26.14 distance double, plus qualifying in the 3200.
Danielle Walker of Maize has the top girls marks with a 2:19.43/ 5:16.86 middle distance double, winning both events by wide margins.

6A Olathe Regional @ ODAC, Olathe : Olathe East dominated both boys and girls team races. Breeana Coleman (OE) won three events, including a powerful 14.00 hurdleperformance.  Casey Epps (OE) wons 2:21.40/ 5:13.31 middle distance wins.  Powerful jump fields saw wins from Alyssa Kelly (BVW) 18-4.25 and Sarah Bushmann (BVW) 38-9.
n a strong 4 x 800 Blue Valley Northwest won in 9:49.0.  Adonis Saunders (ON) won 10.77/ 22.20 sprint races, with Robert Saunders (ON) winning 14.73/ 38.65 hurdle races.
Olathe East put three runners under 2:00 in the 800, led by Ryan Hocker's 1:57.87 win.  Michael Hollembeak (Olathe South) highlighted field events
with a 6-10 HJ win.

6A Regional @ Shawnee Mission North HS, Overland Park:  Leavenworth's girls and Shawnee Mission West's boys easily took the team titles. Leavenworth was led
by Karina Expose, who won 25.01/ 57.22 sprint races.  SM East showed great middle distance power, going 1-2-3 in the girls 800 and winning a 9:35.92 4 x 800.
That girls 4 x 800 was extremely fast and deep, with Lawrence running 9:49.0, one of the state's top times, only to finish 5th and not advance to state. Erica Brand
of Shawnee Mission Northwest threw 44-3 and 153-5 for a big SP/ DT double.  Travis Boyett led SM West's boys, winning 1:56.10/ 4:28.35 middle distance race.
Chris Clarke (SM East) won 10.93/ 22.22 sprint wins, and Jacob Rowe (Leavenworth) won a 22-0.25/ 46-5 horizontal jumps double.  Johannes Swainepool (SM South)
tossed the javelin 207-9.

6A Regional @ Washburn Rural HS, Topeka: Manhattan won the boys and girls team titles, with the boys edging Wichita Heights by five.  Avery Clifton
of Washburn Rural (Topeka) continued her fine season, winning over strong field with a 5:03.64/ 11:00.57 double. That 3200 saw four runners at 11:30 or better,
with Emily Hornbeck of Derby running 11:33, only to find herself in a non-qualifying fifth.  Marley Crusch (Manhattan) had two strong runner-up
performances behind Clifton.  Wichita Southeast showed strong spring strenght with a 48.33 4 x 100 win, plus Tamara Gagne (58.89) and Aarian Tipton
(12.49) taking individual wins.  Oliver Bradwell (Wichita East) won 10.87/ 22.20 sprint wins.  A deep 800 was won by Kyle Thompson (Manhattan) in 1:57.51. In a big
JT match-up, Matt Byers (Wichita East) threw 199-1 to edge Ivan Hartung (Manhattan) 195-9.
