- Clinton senior Ethan Holmes won the 400m hurdle in a US #2 time of 53.85
- East -Sioux City sophomore Shelby Houlihan finished first in US #2 time of 4:37.03, ahead of Dowling Catholic junior Katie Flood's US #3 4:39.11 in the 1500m run
- East -Sioux City girls took the 4x800m relay win in a US #8 time of 9:20.77 over second-place team Dowling Catholic 9:31.31
- Pleasant Valley (7:58.00) and Waukee (7:58.85) take it to the line in the boys 4x800m relays
- Fast 400m hurdles with Ellen Dougherty (East -Sioux City jr) claiming first in 63.01, Sara Stoakes (North Tama sr) taking second in 63.21 and Susan Rodriguez (Pleasant Valley sr) finishing third with a 63.49
- 4x400m relay wins for Waukee IA girls with a new Drake Relays record of 3:50.21 and Indianola boys with a time of 3:23.15
- Washington-Cedar Rapids boys took first place in the 4x100m relay in 43.10

- Indoor US high jump leader and 6-footer Hannah Wilms (Dike-New Hartford IA jr) scales a Drake Relays record 5-11.00 for the win
- Shelby Houlihan (East-Sioux City so) claims first with her finish time of 2:10.17 (US #5) in a fast 800m field; North Tama senior Sara Stoakes finished a close second in 2:10.22 (US #6)
- Washington-Cedar Rapids boys pull together HL #2 1:29.14 4x200m relay to finish in first in a close race ahead of Clinton (1:29.74) and Burlington (1:29.84)
Thursday Highlights
- Dowling Catholic IA junior tandem of Katie Flood and Ashlie Decker go 1-2 in the girls 3000, with defending champ Flood recording her third-straight Drake win at 10:05.48, and Decker second at 10:12.50, just ahead of Northeast Community jr Morgan Casey 10:12.75
- Indianola IA junior Noah Kittelson soars to tie a stadium HS record 6-09.00 in the boys high jump
- Des Moines IA North senior Omet Kak takes the boys 3200 in 9:19.71, up on Brett Egan (Waukon sr) at 9:26.59
- Other field event wins go to Jessica Gehrke (West-Iowa City IA jr) 18-11.00 (nwi) LJ, and Drew Clark (Marion IA sr) 61-01.00 SP
